Academic Qualification: Master’s in Public Administration in 2005 from Tribhuvan University, specialized with Government Accounting and Taxation.

Professional Experience:

He is the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Government of Nepal. He has over 23 years of experience in government treasury systems, accounting, internal auditing, & internal control systems. He has key knowledge of government debt management, public procurement, risk management, & financial analysis of government guarantees and contingent liabilities of the Government of Nepal.

His experience ranges in providing professional services to public financial management, public procurement, and debt management. He is a listed expert and instructor of the Public Service Commission, the Public Financial Training Center, and other institutions.

He has visited Bhutan to attend the seminars and conferences of The South Asian Public Procurement Seminar, Singapore for Debt Sustainability Analysis of LDCs, Austria for the seminar of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, India for the medium-term debt management strategy of Nepal and India under the International Monetary Fund training institution, and China to attend a seminar on public finance.

He was also a member of the Accounting Standards Board (ASB) in the 6^th term and worked as a member of various institutions and committees of the Ministry of Finance.

Currently, he is a member of the Accounting Standards Board (ASB) as well.
