The AuSB consists of 7 members comprising a Chairman appointed by the Government of Nepal from Fellow Chartered Accountants(FCA) and other members are representative of Ministry of Finance(MoF), representative of Office of the Auditor General(OAG), Three Chartered Accountants and One Registered Auditor nominated by the Government of Nepal on the recommendation of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal(ICAN).

Professional Experience:
Mr. Chhetra Gopal Pradhan is a Chartered Accountant with over 16 years of post-qualification experience. Early in his career, he worked for approximately five years as the Head of the Internal Audit Department at Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd. (which has since merged with Nabil Bank Ltd.) and Mega Bank Nepal Ltd. (now merged with Nepal Investment Bank Ltd.). Currently, he is actively engaged in the accounting profession. In addition, he was elected as a Council Member of the 9th Council of ICAN for the term 2021-24. During his tenure at ICAN, he chaired several committees, including the Monitoring & Financial Review Committee and the Fiscal Taxation and Research Committee. Moreover, he served as a member of the Quality Assurance Board and the Disciplinary Committee of ICAN and represented ICAN on various committees at the South Asian Federation of Accountants.
