The AuSB consists of 7 members comprising a Chairman appointed by the Government of Nepal from Fellow Chartered Accountants(FCA) and other members are representative of Ministry of Finance(MoF), representative of Office of the Auditor General(OAG), Three Chartered Accountants and One Registered Auditor nominated by the Government of Nepal on the recommendation of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal(ICAN).

Ganesh Raj Rai is the Registered Auditor with extensive expertise in financial audits, tax audits, and consultancy for various sectors, including manufacturing, trading, tourism, construction, and education.
A graduate of Tribhuvan University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, he holds certifications from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN). Ganesh has served in several pivotal roles, including Council Member and Chair of various committees within ICAN, contributing to professional education, ethical standards, and technological advancement in the accounting field.
He is also a Life Member of the Nepal Auditors Association (AUDAN). Currently leading G. Rai & Associates, he leverages his diverse experience to provide audit and advisory services to NGOs, international development agencies, and a range of private sector entities in Nepal.
