"An Awareness Program on Nepal Standards on Auditing  (NSA), NSA for LCE and Taxation" was organized jointly by the Internal Revenue Department (IRD) and the Auditing Standards Board (AuSB) on  April 3–4, 2026 (2082 Chaitra 20–21), at Pauwa Hotel, Bharatpur, Chitwan, Nepal. The program was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Jagnnath Upadhyay Niraula, Chairman of the Auditing Standards Board; Mr. Kshetra Gopal Pradhan, Board Member; Mr. Shresh Mani Dahal, Board Member; Mr. Punya Vikram Khadka, Chief Tax Officer of the Inland Revenue Office, Bharatpur; Mr. Narayan Pradhan, Vice President of the Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Krishna Prasad Poudel, District President of AUDAN Chitwan; and Mr. Laxman Adhikari, District President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN). During the program, Mr. Jagnnath Upadhyay Niraula, Chairman of the Auditing Standards Board, delivered a keynote address highlighting the importance of the program. The program was attended by 6 CA members, 37 RA, 8 representatives from various Inland Revenue Offices, and 5 accounting professionals, totaling 56 participants, which was managed by Mr. Nabin Devkota, Chief Executive Officer of the Auditing Standards Board, and Mr. Manoj Bhattarai, Administrative Officer.

The program featured three resource persons, comprising professional auditing and tax experts. The following experts served as resource persons for the program:
